Next to the stone honoring Johann Jacob and Eva Rosina are several other family stones, including one for Hannah, now under glass. Plaque on her copper roof says “Oldest legible stone in the cemetery”, her stone says “Here lyeth the body of Hanna Schrack, was born April 17, 1722, died Sept (Dec?) 9, 1736” Their stones are in the Augustus Church Cemetery, Trappe, Pa.” Hannah was not the first burial here, but possibly the first child burial. This cemetery was here prior to the church being founded in 1743. This church is the oldest existing Lutheran building in America.
