Philip Faust was elected an elder when St. Michael's log church, established 1769. Many Schrack ancestors and relatives are buried in St. Michael's cemeteries. Meda (Clauser) Schrack also has many Clauser ancestors that were an integral part of church history. Many Clauser's are also buried here.
