Wertz Restaurant/Hotel, originally owned and operated by William and Elsie Wertz, located on route 419. Very early 1900's Riley and Ida met here. In 1952 Charles and Katie Schrack's 50th anniversary party was here. (Photo taken 2003).

Booklet found in a small chest that belonged to Katie (Faust) Schrack.

The farm in Jefferson Twp purchased by Charles & Katie Schrack on April 3, 1907 south of New Schaefferstown 1-room school. Due to Katie's illness in 1946 Charles and Meda moved in with them. Still in the family.

Charles H. Schrack, 1941-42

This crystal bowl belonged to Katie (Faust) Schrack. Wayne Sr. picked it when he and his brothers were going through their parents belongings. He and Vera gave it as a Christmas gift to one of their children.

Charles Henry Schrack, 19 Dec 1877 - 31 Mar 1968, sone of John Adam and Susan (Rudy) Schrack. Husband of Katie L. Faust 28 Aug 1881 - 25 Aug 1961, daughter of Daniel K. and Etilla Elizabeth Catherine (Lamm) Faust. Together they had five sons, Clarence E., John Howard, Roy Daniel, Charles Alvin and Wayne Calvin.

Next to Allen Reinhart's house (originally purchased by Charles and Katie Schrack) are two stone walls. This is one of the two possible stone walls which Charles Jr and Wayne helped to build as laborers.
