Katie had a quilt made by an old unnamed relative for each son; This one was made for John. This beautiful cherry bed was in Charles Schrack's barn, waiting to be cut for fire wood. It was rescued by John and Florence when they moved to their first house, and treasured ever since.

The 1968 annual Schrack reunion, at the Shartlesville, PA, playground: the 76 family members seen here are only some of John Adams many descendants 121 years after he was born. Most attending are descendants of his sons Charles and Riley.
John H. Schrack bought this dictionary in 1923 when he finished at Kutztown. It was one of his prized and heavily used possessions, which can be seen by all the tape he used to hold it together.
