This old oak bed was Riley's. You can see the bed and dresser here. There is also a wash stand and tall chest of drawers. This bed has a box spring and mattress but when Riley used it there was a framed spring and a straw mattress so you actually slept closer to the floor.

Charles H. Schrack gave his nephew Earl Riley Schrack, these 3 images with a handwritten note: "Your grandmother, great grandfather, great grandmother." IF the left-hand woman is Earl's grandmother Mary 'Polly' Knoll (b. 1846), then the middle and right-hand would be her parents Mary Elizabeth Moyer (b. 1796) and John Christian Knoll. However, Polly was known to be a heavy-set woman, so, although possible, it is doubtful this was her. IF the left-hand woman is Sarah Anna Gerhart (b. 1849), then the middle and right-hand would be her parents Rebecca Schmidt (b. 1809) and John Gerhart (b. 1807). In 1994 granddaughter Sharon Hill invited Earl to go with her to Africa. Their ATV got stuck in the dry riverbed. Earl, 78 years old, is right there helping all the 'pushers'. (Earl is far left, with white shirt and jeans.)

The 1968 annual Schrack reunion, at the Shartlesville, PA, playground: the 76 family members seen here are only some of John Adams many descendants 121 years after he was born. Most attending are descendants of his sons Charles and Riley.

Back simply says 'Pearl S.', front: 1932. Pearl Schrack (married Degler) would have been 18 in 1932. Pearl Marie Schrack (married Henne) would have been 11 in 1932. Does anyone know if this was Pearl Marie Schrack, or someone else?

Stoudt Farm owned by Ida J. Stoudt, located at the east end of Rehrersburg. Her husband Riley P. Schrack was allowed to live there the rest of his life, even if remarried, however, the farm had to go to Ida's (Stoudt) descendants. Dolores E. (Schrack) Hill, Myron and Richard, were raised here.
