LAY-FLAT QUALITY DELUXE ALBUMS: This sample shows our beautiful lay-flat hand-crafted deluxe album. Every open spread allows for text and images to utilize the full spread. Very heavy (thick) archival photo paper with absolute stunning photo quality! Several of our clients were touched so deeply that they were literally moved to tears when they held their album in their hands for the first time. This truly is a masterpiece of quality and design!

FAMILY REUNION: It's difficult for a family of nine to all get together. We were invited to this family reunion to photograph the special event, photo journalism style. The family also had an old treasured family portrait, so we had each member of the family pose where they did decades earlier, so as to recreate the previous moment in time. We captured the entire event, group and individual family portraits, kids playing, dads cooking, mom snuggling baby, and much more. We then created their deluxe album with treasured memories of the day. Since their day was full of fun and laughter, we created a 'scrap book' style album. Every page was very unique to its own theme.

COVER FEATURES: This is my 'Live Love Laugh' style, which includes many words and phrases that encourage enjoyment of life and living it to the full. Text wraps around spine filling front and back cover. Title on spine shown here wrapping to front and back cover - optional. Words/phrases, colors and font will be customized to your album's theme.

COVER FEATURES: This cover highlights the fun of the occasion, with balloons wrapping around the spine to the back. Here I chose balloons, however, other items from your gathering could be used to fill the cover, so if you are taking pictures at a party, please be sure to take many photos of decorations. (If possible, ask me ahead of time for specifications). Of course, font style and color will be changed to match the occasion and client preference.

COVER FEATURES: The family reunion was a fun colorful day. The backgrounds of individual page spreads reflect this. So I wanted a colorful, yet very dignified cover. I created this 'wood texture' with subdued colors . The book title was 'engraving on a fancy brass plate'. The front image was 'attached' with 'brass tacks'. The back cover lists the family members names, in order of birth, blood relatives standing out more than married-in relatives. These names were also 'engraved on a brass plate, attached with brass tacks'. A truly beautiful dignified design!

OUR STANDARD BOOK: Front cover and one inside spread seen here. The Book differs from the Deluxe Album; our book has a center 'gutter', whereas every spread of the deluxe album lays flat like a centerfold.

COVER FEATURES: This cover wraps both the title and image around the spine onto the back. It looks best with two or more title lines. The background, font, and of course featured image would all be customized to your theme and preference

COVER FEATURES: This couple likes sepia images. So when designing this cover, I chose to make the entire cover sepia. The balloons, wrapping around the entire cover, still suggest 'party', but the sepia enhances the dignity of the occasion. COVER FEATURES: This album cover was designed to complement the lifetime-farmer-couple. The background is a from an image I took of real barn wood. The wood frame was created from another barn wood image, giving attention to many details, including placing 'nails' in the corners to 'attach' it to the 'barn wall'. The back cover (left side) is the original handwritten text of a close family friend who beautifully expressed the couple's personalities. The original scanned text was on plain paper. I wanted it to look like it was on paper, nailed to the barn wall, aged and weatherworn. Creating the aged paper was a many step process. We also took a drive to photograph real nails protruding from wood sheds to 'attach' it to the 'wood' on the back cover. The original handwritten text was overlaid onto this creation for authenticity.

FAMILY HISTORY: Front cover and one inside spread, seen here. This one features the 'Schrack' family and the ancestry of the many source family lines. Includes some genealogy, but is mainly focused on the various family stories, who these people were, their influence in the vicinities in which they lived, and how they helped to build these areas into what they are today. This album is loaded with stories and numerous photographs which help the stories come to life.

LIFE STORY: This beautiful 12" x 12" deluxe album starts with an opening chart showing the ancestors of one couple, along with all their descendants. Next are restored images of their ancestors and a little about their lives. Following this are the childhood images and stories of Ben and Pat, then their courtship and marriage, places of employment, farms they lived. Pages are also devoted to the addition of each child and his/her childhood achievements, their marriages and children. Family trips and vacations, and much more!

COVER FEATURES: This cover features a full image that wraps around the spine and across the back. Title will be moved according to image or client preference.

COVER FEATURES: I call this cover style "Reminisce", because it is a collage of many of the images throughout the book. Images are overlaid so as to somewhat blend together. It is a truly beautiful cover! One of my favorite!

COVER FEATURES: My Best Friend: Formatted for a square book, with subject image centered. Background is colors of white with mild shades of blues to compliment the white dog in a winter setting, and some tans to complement the warmth of the loving pet. The canvas 'texture' adds richness to the design. Background colors and texture, along with font style and title will be customized to compliment your theme and preference.

COMMEMORATING A SPECIAL COUPLE: A caring grand-daughter wanted something highlighting the life of her beloved grand-parents who touched the lives of everyone they met. Frank and Gertie were farmers, so the cover was custom designed using photos of barn wood. Attention was given to design each spread to highlight its own unique theme. Images chosen highlight the couple, their family and their some of their many friends.

HIGHLIGHTING AN INDIVIDUAL: This beautiful album highlights the life of a dearly beloved mother; her birth, childhood, school, parents and family, marriage, children, up through later life. It is treasured by those who loved and miss her. Cover Features: This is a very simple basic yet dignified cover design.

COVER FEATURES: This cover lends itself well to a 'scrap book' style photo album. Let me know your preferences for cover artwork, colors and font style……

COVER FEATURES: This "Reminisce" cover style has many images from the book, overlaid so as to somewhat blend together, however, instead of vibrant full colors, we chose one color to match the rustic hunting theme. This reminisce style could be any color of client preference. Notice the 'font' used for the spine is different than the front cover. This was to accommodate the client's preference to have her daughter's handwriting on the spine. If client prefers, we could use personalized handwriting for all cover text. (Inquire for specifications). It is also a truly beautiful cover!
